I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the extraordinary customer service provided by the team at Discount Decorating. I placed an order #23995 with Janet on May 26, telling her that I would be leaving San Antonio on June 3. She took the telephone number at which I could be reached and kept in touch by e-mail regarding the status of my order. She was at all times, helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns.

On June 26, I received call from Tisha with the bad news that the vendor had not shipped my order because the paper had been discontinued. This news was unexpected as Janet had been told there were 44 single rolls available of which I needed 40. The original order was placed at that time, so neither Janet or I expected there to be any problem with obtaining the needed quantity.

Because the original pattern was no longer available, Tisha had taken it upon herself to look for similar patterns. She offered to provide links to those patterns, but because I had planned my kitchen remodeling based on the original paper, I declined the offer. Tisha then offered to contact the vendor because Janet had been told there was paper available when she placed my original order. Fortunately, there were still 38 single rolls available; Tisha gave me the wallpaper hanger tip about taking strips from three rolls and hanging one at a time. When I determined I could probably complete the job with 38 single rolls, Tisha placed the order #25946 and offered 3-day shipping. The paper arrived today, in e xcellent shape, despite the pitiful condition of one of the boxes.

Through all these various contacts and transactions, Janet and Tisha were professional and exhibited a customer-oriented attitude which was most appreciated. I will definitely recommend Discount Decorating to anyone who is seeking quality products that are being sold by a first-class operation.
